Hey!

I’m Laura, the author of all these works.

When I was a child my grandpa, who was a painter in his free time, taught me the value of an image. But it wasn´t until I entered a photography darkroom that I decided to spend the rest of my life creating images.

I followed my passion by studying an MA in Audiovisual Communication and a Master’s Photography Degree. Before I realised, I had already become not only a photographer and a videographer but also a Photography teacher. When I think of it, it feels like a totally different life, since my career has evolved in such a different way… Let me continue the story.

In my free time I continued exploring and investigating. The best thing about creating images is that it is a never-ending world; there is always something new to discover. That’s how I went from specialising in photo retouching to calling myself a graphic designer and illustrator.

I ended up studying for a Master’s in Motion Graphics in London where I began developing my career as a Motion Designer. That was when I understood that I had found the perfect skill for me: an area where I could mix all of my knowledge, and where creativity is the centrepiece

I cherish that precious period when I worked in-house in both London and Brighton. The UK is such a beautiful country where I’ll always have roots; in fact, a good chunk of my clients are still based there.

As you can tell, self-teaching, hard work and perseverance are pillars in my career (a long one to be so young and good looking, I must say :p ). Although all this experience made me who I am now, it’s nice to think it all started with my grandpa.

Feel free to drop me a line if you need anything, I’ll always be around.
